A CLEARER, SAFER WAY TO CLOSE

Independent Payment Protection With Escrow.com

Escrow.com acts as an independent third-party escrow provider. It receives and verifies buyer funding, holds the funds during the agreed transfer and inspection process, and releases them according to the accepted escrow instructions. The broker coordinates the sale but does not hold your purchase funds.

01

Agree on the Transaction

Buyer, seller and broker review the exact asset, price, brokerage, escrow fees and inspection terms in Escrow.com.

02

Fund Escrow.com

The buyer funds the complete approved amount directly with Escrow.com. Transfer waits until the provider confirms funds are secured and authorizes delivery.

03

Transfer and Inspect

The seller transfers the domain to the buyer’s Namecheap account. The buyer checks ownership and follows the acceptance or dispute steps inside Escrow.com.

04

Close and Disburse

Once its release conditions are met, Escrow.com disburses seller proceeds and the agreed brokerage commission.

The Buyer Pays 100% of the Escrow.com Fee. This is separate from the 5% buyer-paid brokerage commission. Escrow.com’s actual transaction quote is disclosed before funding; no fixed provider percentage is promised. The broker collects no separate deposit.

Escrow.com tracks the payment, transfer and inspection stages under its service terms. This helps reduce fraud risk; it does not guarantee ownership, legal rights, trademark clearance, asset quality or a fraud-free outcome. Ordinary transfers are coordinated by the seller/broker, not automatically performed by this website.

GOOD TO KNOW

Clear answers before you start.

Questions about the process or this listing? Contact the broker before making a commitment.

Is my offer a completed purchase?

No. Email verification confirms mailbox access. Seller authorization, the executed agreement, cleared funds and successful transfer are separate steps.

Who pays the brokerage and escrow fees?

The buyer pays the separately disclosed 5% brokerage commission and 100% of the actual quoted Escrow.com fees. Both are disclosed before signing. The escrow fee is separate from the purchase price and is not earned by the broker. No purchase money is collected by this website.

Is a separate deposit required?

No separate broker-held deposit is collected. After signing and provider onboarding, fully fund the matching transaction directly with Escrow.com. Follow only its authenticated payment instructions. The provider must secure the funds and authorize transfer before the domain is released.

Does escrow eliminate all risk?

No. Escrow.com is an independent provider that verifies funding and coordinates conditional release under its accepted instructions. This helps reduce fraud risk; it is not a guarantee of ownership, asset quality or freedom from disputes. Verify the official website, complete your due diligence, and raise concerns directly with Escrow.com within its inspection period.

Do I need a Namecheap account?

Yes, for this internal Namecheap workflow. Create an active account and provide your exact username before signing. Never provide your password or security codes. The broker must independently check transfer readiness.

How long does the process take?

Default windows are 3 calendar days to sign after issuance and 5 calendar days to complete provider funding after a matching, accepted transaction is ready and the funding notice is issued. The ordinary transfer target is 10 calendar days after secured funding and provider transfer authorization are verified. Registrar restrictions can cause delays; extensions require notice and review. Escrow.com determines the actual inspection and disbursement timeline.

Does the website come with the domain?

Only the assets expressly itemized in the agreement are included. Website content, hosting, email, SSL, trademarks and customer information do not automatically come with a domain-only purchase.

DOMAIN PURCHASE AND BROKERAGE TERMS
Escrow.com-Only Closing - Version 1.4.0 - Template for Qualified Legal Review

1. Parties, Offer and Acceptance
The fixed transaction schedule identifies the seller/current legal owner, buyer, intended registrant and broker. A submitted offer or verified email is not an accepted sale or a funded reservation. An actually authorized seller representative may issue an agreement and reserve the domain subject to performance. The buyer's signature following recorded seller authorization executes that agreement. The parties must separately accept the matching Escrow.com transaction. Nothing on this website binds Escrow.com or guarantees that it will accept a transaction.

2. Exact Assets and Authority
Only the domain registration rights and additional assets expressly itemized in the schedule are included. Hosting, websites, software, email, SSL certificates, logos, artwork, trademarks, databases, customer information and social accounts are excluded unless specifically itemized and lawfully transferable. A separately purchased artwork item has a separate agreement and escrow transaction. Seller represents actual authority to convey the stated rights and must disclose known liens, disputes and restrictions. Buyer represents authority to contract and designate the intended registrant. Registrar registration rights are subject to the registrar and registry rules, not unlimited perpetual ownership.

3. Independent Escrow Provider and Broker Role
Escrow.com is the designated independent third-party escrow service, separate from the buyer, seller, broker and WebKreations. Escrow.com receives, verifies and holds buyer funds, administers the agreed transfer/inspection process and disburses funds under its accepted transaction instructions. The broker facilitates negotiation, documents and transfer coordination; it is not the escrow holder and must not collect the purchase funds in its operating account. WebKreations supplies software and is not a party merely because the plugin is used. No affiliation, endorsement, guarantee of no fraud, legal-title certification or provider approval is implied by displaying Escrow.com's name.

4. Price, Brokerage and Buyer-Paid Escrow Fees
Buyer owes the accepted domain price, the separate buyer-paid brokerage commission stated in the schedule (normally 5% of the accepted domain price), and 100% of the Escrow.com escrow service fees quoted for the matching transaction. The provider fee is separate from brokerage and is not purchase-price credit. The commission is a closing success fee, funded with the transaction and disbursed through Escrow.com when the closing conditions are met; it is not earned merely by submitting an offer or funding escrow. Actual provider fees depend on the provider's quote, service and approved funding arrangement, not a percentage promised by this website. The fixed schedule lists the quote and USD funding total before funding. Buyer is also responsible for its own bank's sending/conversion charges, if any; the full invoiced USD amount must reach the provider. No additional broker markup or unlisted tax is automatically added. A material difference between the local schedule and the provider transaction must be corrected and accepted by the affected parties before payment. Other parties' taxes and payout costs are not silently shifted to buyer.

5. Full Funding, Not a Broker-Held Deposit
No separate deposit is payable to the broker. Buyer funds the complete agreed transaction through the instructions displayed in the buyer's authenticated Escrow.com account after the agreement is signed and the matching transaction is ready. A partial payment, local receipt report, screenshot, forwarded email or browser return does not satisfy full funding. No asset is to be released until Escrow.com verifies and secures the required amount and authorizes transfer. Do not initiate another payment merely because local status has not updated. Any exceptional staged-funding arrangement requires a separately executed amendment accepted by Escrow.com; this workflow does not implement it.

6. Accounts, Verification and Privacy
Buyer must register or sign in at Escrow.com and complete required identity, business, funding and compliance checks directly with that provider. Other parties must complete their required onboarding. Complete legal identities, domain, transaction ID, commission, fees, inspection rules and currency must match. Email verification on this website proves mailbox access only. Do not give this website or broker provider passwords, bank credentials, two-factor codes or identity-document images. Escrow.com receives necessary party and transaction information for its service under its own privacy and legal terms, separate from the broker's published privacy policy. This plugin does not independently perform provider identity checks.

7. Signing and Funding Deadlines
The schedule gives the signing deadline. The full-funding period starts when the broker has recorded all-party provider acceptance/readiness and issued a funding notice after buyer signature. The default is five calendar days, but the fixed schedule governs. Broker must act promptly and not postpone readiness recording to create an artificial extension. Funding must be secured by the applicable deadline, not merely initiated, unless Escrow.com and the parties expressly agree otherwise. Account review, banking cutoffs, weekends and holidays require advance planning and timely extension requests. Resolve any difference with the provider's actual deadline before funding; a website extension cannot change Escrow.com's deadline. No missed deadline automatically forfeits funds or cancels an executed agreement.

8. Required Namecheap Account and Transfer
This workflow assumes a domain already registered at Namecheap and an internal account-to-account ownership change. Buyer must establish an active Namecheap account, maintain accurate profile information and provide the exact destination username before signing. Buyer and intended registrant can differ as disclosed. Username entry is a declaration, not independent verification. Seller/broker must check eligibility, expiration, disputes, destination and removal of conflicting marketplace listings before acting. After provider funding authorization, seller/broker initiates the approved ownership change and supplies evidence to Escrow.com. Buyer promptly accepts any Namecheap invitation, confirms the domain in the intended account and completes provider receipt/inspection steps. Namecheap may require an invitation whose link expires after seven days. Never exchange registrar passwords or security codes. The plugin does not execute the transfer. Other registrars, domain-holding or concierge arrangements require separately approved instructions.

9. Transfer Cushion and Delays
The schedule's ordinary transfer target, normally ten calendar days, starts when the broker records provider-confirmed funding and transfer authorization. It includes coordination time and is not a guarantee of registrar completion. Account problems, expiration, registry restrictions, security reviews, disputes and compliance checks may cause delay. Broker must promptly notify parties, document the cause and seek a reasoned extension or resolution. The cushion is not an unlimited delay right and never extends the provider's inspection period. If the target is missed, the parties must coordinate an accepted extension or cancellation/dispute remedy through Escrow.com. Registrar-related delays outside buyer's control do not automatically constitute buyer default.

10. Receipt, Inspection, Acceptance and Disbursement
The inspection period and its actual start/end are determined by the accepted Escrow.com transaction instructions. The agreed duration appears in the schedule. Buyer must inspect ownership/control and any itemized assets, then accept or raise concerns directly in Escrow.com within its deadline. Clicking a local receipt button or messaging the broker does not submit acceptance, rejection or a dispute to Escrow.com or pause its clock. Applicable provider rules may permit release following acceptance or expiration of the inspection period. Escrow.com controls actual disbursement to seller and broker. Local statuses are broker-recorded observations, not live API certifications or release instructions.

11. Cancellation, Refunds and Disputes
Cancellations, returns, rejected transfers, refunds, retained provider fees and disputes are administered through Escrow.com under its accepted instructions and applicable law. Buyer acknowledges that escrow fees may remain payable or be retained after funding or cancellation; a full refund of every charge is not promised. No automatic refund, provider-fee calculation, damages award or commission forfeiture is performed by the plugin. Brokerage is generally unearned if the sale does not close unless a separate lawful term is expressly accepted by the parties and provider. Seller nonperformance, fraud, inability to convey rights or misrepresentation must be addressed through the provider and applicable remedies, not hidden by a blanket nonrefund clause. No deduction is authorized beyond the accepted provider instructions and applicable law. Domain returns may require a new cooperative registrar transfer and are not promised to be automatically reversible. Obtain provider resolution and resolve asset rights before releasing a reservation.

12. Finality and Rights That Survive Closing
A successfully completed sale is final after conveyance, satisfaction of provider inspection/release conditions and closing, except for expressly agreed remedies and rights under applicable law. Finality does not waive the inspection period, provider dispute process, fraud/misrepresentation remedies, title/authority claims or nonwaivable consumer protections. Neither local terms nor a broker decision overrides a lawful provider hold, court order or statutory obligation.

13. Due Diligence and Security
Buyer should independently evaluate legal, trademark, financial, tax and technical suitability. No traffic, earnings, valuation, rankings or trademark clearance is guaranteed unless expressly warranted in the fixed agreement. Parties must disclose material known problems. Fraud concerns, sanctions, identity discrepancies, payment reversals or legal/registrar restrictions require an immediate review and communication to Escrow.com. Verify the exact escrow.com hostname and transaction ID; obtain payment instructions only from the authenticated provider account. This process reduces risk, not eliminates it.

14. Electronic Records, Notices and Priority
Buyer may review, download and retain the fixed agreement and request a paper process before signing. Electronic consent, signatures and timestamps are retained as evidence; future settings do not amend an issued or signed instrument. Changes to price, asset, provider fee, parties or material terms require appropriately renewed agreement. Administrative notices and extensions are separate records. Parties must monitor both broker and Escrow.com communications. Applicable law prevails; accepted Escrow.com instructions control its custody, funding, inspection, refund and disbursement services. The fixed agreement controls the parties' other obligations to the extent consistent; inconsistencies must be resolved before funding rather than choosing whichever deadline is convenient.

15. Professional Review and Operational Boundaries
Qualified counsel must review the actual transaction, governing law/venue, authority, taxes, privacy/retention, consumer rights, electronic consent and provider instructions before commercial use. This template is not legal advice and does not select a jurisdiction for an independent provider. Preserve records on a broker-controlled system before the sold domain changes control. Never transfer the broker's database or other buyers' information with a domain-only sale.

The signed sale agreement and accepted Escrow.com instructions govern their respective obligations. Complete legal, trademark, tax and technical due diligence before signing.
